Becoming An ECIA Member

The National Electronic Distributors Association (NEDA) and the Electronic Components Association (ECA) have consolidated forces to form the Electronic Components Industry Association (ECIA). ECIA is a not-for-profit trade association representing manufacturers of electronic components and their supplier authorized distribution partners and independent field sales representatives. The association is dedicated to promoting and improving the business environment for the authorized sales of electronic components and enhancing the distributor-manufacturer relationship. ECIA connects the electronic components industry and elevates technology through programs, standards, services, and networking.

Membership in ECIA

Membership in ECIA is open to all facets of the electronic components industry: manufacturers, authorized distributors and independent field sales representatives working together as a stronger voice for our entire industry.


Distributor membership is open to those business entities engaged in the wholesale distribution of electronic components, equipment, and supplies. Manufacturer membership is open to those business that manufacture or have manufactured for them, electronic components, equipment or supplies. Independent Field Sales Representative membership is open to those business that are contractually retained by manufacturers to market and sell electronic components, equipment or supplies.

The ECIA dues structure for distributor and
manufacturer membership is based on dollar sales of electronic components in North America.
Representative member dues are based on total
revenue. *


Less than $50 million $1,000
Between $50 million and $100 million $1,500
Between $100 million and $250 million $3,750
Between $250 million and $500 million $7,500
Between $500 million and $750 million $11,250
Between $750 million and $1 billion $15,000
Greater than $1 billion $20,000

* Dues amounts apply to new members only. ECA and NEDA members dues will be based on current dues levels.
